Career ⁄ Performance Highlights:

• Marjorie started her dance training in Rhodesia at the age of 7
• South African Royal Ballet Junior Company member
• Soloist with the South African Royal Ballet Senior Company
• During her career, Marjorie has enjoyed dancing with many stars; notably Dame Merle Park and Desmond Kelly, now director of the Elmhurst Ballet School, and has been asked to dance at a Command Performance
• Teacher training with Dame Nirette de Volois,oyal Ballet, at Cape Town University
• Spending a day in London with Dame Margot Fonteyn, at which time she was President of the Academy
• On arrival in England Marjorie continued her ballet teaching career; teahing in Stafford for 7 years before setting up her own school in Eccleshall, at which she was principle for eighteen years
• Marjorie now particularly enjoys teaching at Stagecraft, where she has worked for the past seven years, working to help students pass their RAD examinations as well as helping prepare for the school"s many performances
